How to read a math text

I. Two things all students must do during first week:

  • Hand in a photocopy of your student ID. This will aid me in the process of learning the names and faces of students.
  • Make sure you can recieve emails at your students.salisbury.edu account, where class announcements will be sent; you need to either check it regularly throughout the week, or have mail forwarded to an email address you check regularly.

    II. Important Information about Course Requirements and Policies which you need to print and read:

  • My schedule (including office hours) and other useful information are on the Courses page. You probably will also want to read some of the various "success in math" (and especially the Math Fable) links on the courses page.

    Critical Handouts

    1. The Syllabus and Information Sheet for our section (paper copy was given in class)
    2. Carefully read the fuller Course Policies (e.g. policies on exam, tardiness..don't find out "after the fact"!)
